Finding actors
Last week I found out that the actors I was going to use were no longer available. I did have two people as a backup, one of which used to be my tutor from college. I then found out that I needed to have footage to show for the following week. No one was available. I called everyone I know, emailed people, put a notice up on facebook to try and find male actors. Could not find anyone suitable.
Asked Alex, said yes (she has done some acting for me before, she is great in front of the camera), managed to get her boyfriend Gorden involved to who turned out to be perfect for the part. Filmed at my uncle's house that has just been decorated. Everything was great apart from a few technical problems on the day with the lighting (bulb went), so only had one light but I hope to film again with two.

Hair, make up and outfits were discussed before hand, little details like painted nails were very important. Gorden was an absolute star and allowed me to pile lots of make up on his face.
They both looked perfect for the part.

THANKS Mobell for the panels!
Mobelle sent three different sized solar panels. One of which was a little damaged so (after getting permission from Mobell) I sprayed it to make it look brand new on camera.

Update
Solar Panels:
Called numerous solar panel companies to try and get hold of a panel for filming, some of which were very expensive! HOWEVER I've managed to borrow some small panels from a very kind company which will hopefully be delivered today.

Actors:
Had a meeting with a tutor from Kensington and Chelsea college last Monday about using some of their drama students. I have recently been told that they have two students who they think would be suitable. I am currently trying to arrange a meeting with them this week.
I have also sent emails to a couple of actors I know through friends. If anyone knows someone who may be suitable please let me know.

Studio:
I called QVC to try and speak to someone from the media department but had no joy, I plan to call again as I now have the name of the head of media and send an email.
Also contacting other shopping channels, most of which seem to be outside of London.
I have called a few London studios but have not found anything suitable yet.
Am now moving to plan B, make a mock up studio and seriously look into blue screening as it needs to look as convincing as possible.
